Specifically, Daryeel Assocaition is local partner for International Organisation for Migration (IOM ) in Mogadishu and south-central Somalia to perform a variety of activities to mobilize resources in order to sustain the projects and skills training programs that empower youth groups and to implement  the Transitional Initiative for Stabilization (TIS) program through funding from IOM and USAID.  The main programs and projects of TIS  were based on: diaspora skills transfer to TFG institutions (QUESTS-MIDA funded by UNDP, TIS MIDA funded by USAID and Capacity-Building for Somalia (CBS) MIDA funded by JICAD/Japan;  quick impact project (QIPs) for local administrations and communities; rehabilitation of infrastructure and public-buildings; environmental management (waste collection, EIA, etc),  provision of furniture and equipments; institutional and capacity-buildings for TFG institutions.

In addition, Daryeel Association has developed several assessment and research assignments on conflicts and institutions with IOM in Mogadishu and EDC in Somaliland (Hargeisa, Burao and Las Anod) on conflict sensitivity assessment both for Government institutions and local organisations, youth and skills development and written a research paper for SAFERWORLD on ”Cotonou Agreement and Non-State Actors in Somalia (NSAs)”.
